Blocking + UV mapping in Maya

Baking Process and Substance Painter
This is where it all just went wrong…I obviously and without knowing, drastically changed my model in Zbrush to the point where the baking process was an abosolute failure. Barely any of the model matched up, creating awakrd details. I also went back into Maya and began warping the low-poly to match the high-poly but this just warped the fundamental design and made it look…well…just terrible. This is where I made the decision to start over. Completly. With an enitrely different idea.
Sculpting in Zbrush:
I loved adding details to my model. Some of it was really hard to sculpt right, but the scares on her body were really fun to add.
I honeslty really struglled importing everything and it took mea long time to getit right, restarting the program multiple times….
Blocking + UV unwrapping Maya:
this was quite fun! I learnt a lot about Maya from this, such as simple maniuplation of vertices and edges, symmetry, how to add in background reference imagery, etc.
One problem I encountered with the UVs was the staff as I used a square as a primitive instead of a cylinder. This just completly messed up my topology and thus needed a lot of help to get it right.
