The Beginning of the End:

It suddenly hit us. The heat was a wave of destruction, and its only intent was to massacre the unfortunate citizens; It was deadly and unforgiving. The heat brought glistening drops of sweat to our skin. Our eyes formed salty streams and our lips formed cracks (there were only limited options to escape it). Everyone surrounding us was experiencing the same sensations, and seemingly, had a similar idea to us. To go to the mall. We all raced to the building, desperate to feel that refreshing blast of air; determined to be the first ones in, we pushed and shoved our way past. The long anticipated cold air was stale and dry. The floor was filthy and there was a slight tinge of mould that resided within. It was bearable for now…just.

Peeling an Orange:

It sat in the kitchen. Waiting for me to just take it. My hand grazed lightly over its textured body. My fingers then viscously pierced though its skin and resulted in a burst of sweet fragrance. I slowly peeled it’s layers back; my stomach anticipating the first bite.

Although I didn’t like my final product, I really liked the process of going out and creating our own unique sounds.

Some of the images I used in the final three animations were from previous rotations (such as the traditional animation one). Some of the other images were taken during the Introduction to Animation module as well as a combination for my own images. I also made my own animations using Procreate and a simple design pattern which I used predominantly when doodling.

Here are some of the original photos which I took. The cheese grater was from my accommodation kitchen, the building was outside the bus stop by the LCC campus and the window is the view from my accommodation. I chose all these photos as they had a very strong sense of line and worked well once duplicated and composed:
